For the third time around I will be hosting a night of amazing acoustic music at Peel Fresco. Before the very first show I wrote down a couple names of bands that I would love to have on stage. Due to conflicting agendas it hasn’t worked out before but now I am super exited that Aileen & Darren and Indigo Town will be performing together with my very own band The Funkateers on Saturday the 30th of April. Hoping to see many of you there for what surely is going to be a great night!
Aileen & Darren
Aileen first stepped into the HK Indie Music scene in 2008 with local Indie band, Dark Himaya. For her acoustic set she teams up with her husband Darren. Having such influences like Kate Bush and Jeff Buckley, her original music has been described as intense and personal with a Wildean quality to it. Her covers are darkly rich and haunting but manages to lift up and refresh the spirit.
Hailing from all over the world this amazing Funk/Acoustic band will surely make it hard for people to remain seating while they are playing a wide variety of their signature style covers.
